A nice little dry fly good for small trout and atlantic salmon, this downwing fly is a great searching pattern from California Butte Creek area, It also can be tied in different colors and will bring trout to the surface in fast flowing rivers

Hook - Mustad 94840 or similar hook size 10-18
Thread - black
Tail - red hackle barbs
Body - red fluo chenille
Wings - white calftail
Hackle - grizzly
