SPRING SUMMER FALL A LOOK AT MY 2007 SEASON

Here is a full report of some of my best trips of 2007

We are very blessed to be living on the North Shore of the Saint Laurence with rivers full of native brook trout and Atlantic Salmon that flow south from the Labrador Plateau and all Here is a full report of some of my best trips of 2007

I will post them in small report of various trip, The sea run brook trout is the first one and more will follow every week

Early May 2007 Sea run brook trout on the fly (Salt water Estuary Pentecote river region)

We set out in mid day the tide is starting to reside and the best time for nice sea run is only going to get better from now on until the tide starts to rise again later today. Sonie has a light set up a Gatti frx 9 foot #4 fly rod and is using an intermediate airflow tactical fly line with 5 x leader and a small streamer, my set up is a bit overkill with a Gatti FR 3PA 10 foot #6 and a airflow tactical intermediate fly line. Flies use are small to large streamers, deceivers and clousers tied in a special baitfish imitations capelin and sand eels.
